For the past few years ICA has hosted many cultural events for our Indian community in Portland, the main one being India Festival.
All of these require a considerable amount of time and money. Our membership count once at 400 has now decreased considerably. We have also lost our grants that supported the financing of India Festival.
We are requesting that you become a member and help us revitalize this organization. A sum of $25.00 (family membership) will go a long way in making us financially stable and allow us to plan several events for 2006.
India Festival has now become a major event for Portland, and ICA needs your help in continuing to host this event. Performers for all ICA events including India Festival will be charged a fee, which will be waived for ICA members.
