This year’s festival will take place on
August 15th 2020, at 4pm
All proceeds will be donated to charities supporting local businesses
Format
The festival will be a livestream of pre-recorded videos!
We will accept video submissions 2 weeks in advance of the festival and curate a virtual show! These videos will then be put together into a livestream that will play online for you, friends, and family to watch together on August 15th.
How this will work
Register to perform by July 30th
Submit a performance video or advertisement following the guidelines below by August 1st
Share your files to the indiafestivalpdx@gmail.com email address, via Google Drive, so that we can stitch the videos together
Test your video as an unlisted YouTube video to ensure that copyright restrictions won’t affect the ability to play the video
Our judges will review the content submitted, and select a set of videos to be part of the show
We will let you know by August 9th if your video has been selected, and provide a time slot for your performance. If you are selected, please do not post your video online before the show.
Submit a $10 participation fee, per participant, to ICA-Portland on Venmo
In the spirit of ensuring the festival is inclusive, if this fee is preventing you from registering, please send an email to indiafestivalpdx@gmail.com.
Put together a small viewing party with friends and family, order takeout from one of our fantastic local restaurants, have a great time, and donate live!
All proceeds from participation fees, advertising, and donations will be donated to charities supporting local businesses!
